We’re now looking for an HR & Talent Manager who wants to shape the heart of Donna as we scale. Someone who loves the full HR spectrum, from strategy to culture to hiring, and who thrives in an ambitious, early-stage environment.

You’ll be one of the first hires on our People side. This means impact. Ownership. And the chance to partner closely with experienced serial entrepreneurs from day one.

What you’ll be doing

Your mission: build the people engine that lets Donna scale fast, healthy, and human.

Talent Acquisition (end-to-end)

  • Own and continuously improve Donna’s hiring machine from pipelining to interviewing to closing.

  • Partner with founders and hiring managers to define hiring needs, job scopes, and ideal candidate profiles.

  • Build a strong employer brand in the Ghent tech ecosystem.

We work with external recruiters for extra sourcing and recruiting power, but you run the show: you guard our bar, manage the flow, and turn candidates into Donna fans.

HR Strategy & People Ops

  • Set up scalable HR processes (policies, frameworks, performance cycles, compensation basics, compliance).

  • Lead onboarding and off-boarding flows that feel premium, intentional, and aligned with our values.

  • Support in internal FinOps, payroll coordination, contract processes, and people-related administration.

Culture, Engagement & Internal Communication

  • Shape culture rituals, feedback loops, and team dynamics that create psychological safety and high performance.

  • Organise internal meetings, off-sites, and celebrations that make Donna a place people love to work.

  • Act as a trusted liaison between leadership and the rest of the team.

Office, Events & Operations Leadership

  • Oversee the office environment and make our HQ a place where people genuinely enjoy showing up.

  • Co-own logistical streams like events, travel, internal operations, and day-to-day team experience.

Job requirements

  • Have proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in HR, Talent, or PeopleOps (ideally in a fast-growing or startup environment).

  • Have strong strategic thinking but zero ego when it comes to rolling up your sleeves.

  • Communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally in both Dutch and English.

  • Are extremely organized, detail-oriented and comfortable handling a broad scope.

  • Understand confidentiality and build trust easily.

  • Love to design processes… but also break them when needed.

  • Are curious about AI and excited about where it’s going.
