Finance & Operations Associate

As a Finance & Operations Associate at Donna, you’ll play a central role in keeping the company running smoothly while helping build the operational backbone of a fast-scaling startup. You’ll work across finance, people operations, and internal processes—supporting everything from accounts payable and payroll to onboarding and cash management—while gaining a holistic view of how a modern company operates and scales.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where execution meets continuous improvement. You’ll not only support core finance and ops workflows, but also help rethink and optimize them—documenting processes, identifying inefficiencies, and experimenting with AI-driven solutions to automate repetitive work and increase accuracy.

You’ll collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, contributing to both day-to-day operations and longer-term initiatives. From ensuring the team gets paid on time to shaping the office experience and supporting internal events, your work will directly impact how the company functions and feels.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn fast—combining operational excellence with a forward-looking mindset around automation and AI.

What you’ll be doing

Company Finance & Operations

On the finance side, you’ll help keep the business running smoothly:

• Implementing, and maintaining tools

• Support the AP & AR processes

• Assist with payroll execution (in BE, but also UK and US), ensuring everyone is paid correctly and on time

• Help with onboarding and offboarding

• Help manage cash, treasury, and runway reporting

You’ll gain a broad understanding of how finance & HR ops scale in a fast-moving start-up.

Learn, Automate & Build with AI first

• Deeply understanding existing finance & ops processes

• Helping document and improve them

• Experimenting with AI tools and agentic workflows to automate repetitive work

You don’t need to be an AI expert: tech savviness, curiosity and willingness to experiment matter more.
